RPE “MITEK” LLC is often approached by various enterprises and specialists enquiring about the possibility of using magnetic-impulse installations IM for cleaning the inner surfaces of railway cars from adhered (frozen) bulk materials both during bottom unloading of railcars and when unloading them on railcar dumpers.
In this case, the traditional stationary attachments of the executive mechanisms of the installations IM to the railway cars are inapplicable; it is necessary to carry out an operative conveyance, pressing and diversion of the mechanisms to the surfaces of the railway cars to be cleaned.
RPE “MITEK” LLC has several developed technical solutions for the use of installations IM for cleaning the walls of railway cars, some of which are protected by Patents №86670, №100621, №100622, №100623.
In the process of our experimental works, we tested various designs of units for conveyence, pressing and diversion of the executive mechanisms of the installations IM during bottom unloading (see the first video) and during unloading on a railcar dumper (see the second video). The results of these works confirm the possibility of using the installations IM for cleaning railway cars.

However, so far, the magnetic-impulse systems have not found their widespread use for cleaning railway cars for the following reasons:
- need for an individual approach to design of magnetic-impulse systems of cleaning railway cars for various unloading points;
- complexity of the integration of magnetic-impulse systems into the existing designs of railcar dumpers;
- heterogeneity of the structures of the railcar fleet subject to magnetic-impulse cleaning;
- other.
At the same time, taking into account the vast positive experience of operating the installations IM in the hopper economy and the existing problems when unloading of railway cars, the use of magnetic-impulse systems for cleaning railway cars seems to be promising and highly demanded.

We are interested in joint activities with various enterprises (designing, operating the railway car fleet, etc.) for development, manufacture and implementation of magnetic-impulse cleaning systems for railway cars.
In particular, we offer joint cooperation to enterprises-developers and manufacturers of railcar dumpers.
RPE “MITEK” LLC is ready to take on the following functions:
- participation in the joint design of a magnetic-impulse system for cleaning the walls of railway cars on a railcar dumper with the use of magnetic-impulse installations IM.
- manufacturing and delivery of the IM installations provided in the project in the required set.
- contract supervision and commissioning at time of mounting and commissioning of the magnetic-impulse cleaning system.
Functions of the company-developer and manufacturer of railcar dumpers:
- Development (together with RPE “MITEK” LLC) of a project of magnetic-impulse system for cleaning the walls of railway cars on a railcar dumper using the installations IM, approval of the project in the relevant authorities.
- Construction and mounting works when equipping a railcar dumper with a magnetic-impulse cleaning system.
- Adjustment and commissioning works when commissioning the railcar dumper with a magnetic-impulse cleaning system for railway cars.
The railcar dumpers with a magnetic-impulse cleaning system for railway cars, subsequently manufactured by the manufacturer, will receive additional competitive advantages and will be in demand by the customers of the railcar dumpers.
